we be jammin'
we went strawberry picking last weekend. it was a perfect not-too-hot day. the berries were plentiful and we picked about 15 pounds! we have eaten a lot of strawberries in the past week... i also made a few yummies: strawberry syrup, strawberry jam from apples for jam, and lots of strawberry shortcake! maeve smells like strawberries now all the time, starting right when she wakes up in the morning and to when i am rocking her to sleep just after a bath.
