i can't believe february is over tomorrow!  it was a full month and posting a picture a day has been fun.  i am looking forward to a slower march, but we are probably moving so i think that there may not be as much rest as i am hoping for.  march brings more sunshine and the beginning of spring though, both of which i am desperately looking forward to!

improvised patchwork block i made with denyse yesterday.  we had to blindly pick fabrics out of paper bags (denyse calls it the paper bag method).  it is amazing how much sewing i got done when i did not have to labor over which fabrics to put where, and you know what?  the blocks came out pretty cool looking when we put them all together.  i am now itching to do a paper bag method quilt, but cut up my own fabrics and blindly put them together.  if only i did not have so many other things to sew first...
